As official signage suppliers for Worcester Warriors, CitySigns has had a busy time replacing all of the signage across the roof of the Slick Systems, aka east, Stand with new branding for club sponsors Worcester Bosch.
From one end to the other, the stand is around 122 metres long and a long way up, as you’ll see from the photo album on our Facebook page.
Of course, working in this type of environment – as CitySigns staff do on a regular basis – is not without its hazards.
And that’s exactly why Work at Height regulations came into force several years ago. These regulations operate alongside other health and safety laws and all employers must abide by them to protect their workers.
First and foremost, a risk assessment has to be carried out before any work at height is undertaken. This takes into account the type of equipment to be used including:
• Ladders
• Access equipment
• Mobile elevated platforms
• Scaffold towers
So there’s lots of preparation to be done before we even step on the first rung – and our advice is to steer clear of signage providers who appear to be happy to just turn up on the day and hope it's not windy!
CitySigns provides a wide range of signage to promote your business or organisation – either up in the air or down on the ground. Call us today on 01905 640007 to discuss your requirements.
